One of the biggest projects Sign Specialists has ever undertaken, and possibly one of the most enjoyable.
This project presented a huge learning curve for our team, allowing us to develop many different techniques that we still use to this day.
Back in 1990, we had the opportunity to work with Disney and help create the magical atmosphere of Euro Disney.
More than 30 years later, some of the signage we created is still in place today, including signs at Walt’s Restaurant, Big Thunder Mountain, and many other locations. This is a testament to the quality of our manufacturing and its ability to stand the test of time.
From signwriting on boats while standing knee-deep in freezing water to creating simple wayfinding solutions, this was certainly a project we will never forget.
As you can see, things were a bit different back then.
With the absence of CAD technology, we had to hand-draw every single signage component from scratch.
Everyone was involved in the project, from Design, Project Management, and Administration right through to the Directors themselves.
The project took over three years to complete, and the results were astonishing.
