To kick off proceedings, we are delighted to announce that 2011 is a very special year for us
as we celebrate our 50th anniversary as a Limited Company.
Whilst the name ‘Sign Specialists’ was around much earlier, the business was officially
incorporated as a Limited Company during April 1961.
Still under family ownership and now guided by the son of our founder, we are extremely proud
of our heritage and of the many achievements we have made during our 50 year history.
We plan to explore our archives throughout the year and will share the highlights via this website.
We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Diamond Signs, Nottingham.
This strategic purchase serves to complement our existing customer base, strengthening our position as leading signage supplier to retail, commercial and leisure sectors alike.
Diamond Signs was formed in 2003 supplying signage to the bookmaking industry and larger convenience store operators, with clientele such as Betfred and Londis Retail.
Further to this consolidation, we are delighted to announce that the co-founder of Diamond Signs, Mr Ian McClair, has joined us in the capacity of Account Director.
Ian will ensure that clients experience a smooth transition to Sign Specialists Ltd, who will also benefit from our wide range of in-house design and production facilities, housed within our 30,000 sq ft facility in Redditch, Worcestershire.
